My beautiful wife, two sons and I live in the South End of Halifax where my wife owns and operates Chestnut Preschool.

Our team of professionals and myself look forward to helping you with your residential, and investment real estate needs.

Chelsea Smith, Transaction Coordinator

Originally from Cape Breton, I came to the “Big City” of Halifax to study as a Paralegal. Upon working a couple of years in the legal field I decided that the emotional element of legal industry was not for me. I did however, really enjoy the real estate piece of law. After bouncing around in customer service and sales positions I was presented with the opportunity to try my hand at real estate. 10 years later and I’m still here. There is always something new to learn and people to meet. We believe in creating long term relationships and ensuring you are protected. Whether your a 1st time buyer, an experienced seller or investment property professional, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Alexia Jonniaux, REALTOR®

Alexia decided to move to Canada from France in 1991 to complete her master’s in human resources. For 15 years, she worked as a trainer and customer care representative for the corporate account department of a large telecommunication company. The experience trained her to listen to the needs and wants of customers, students and co- workers. While working with the telecommunication company, Alexia developed her negotiation skills. She also learnt how to solve issues and address concerns, no matter how daunting. Alexia has had a long time interest in real estate. Through her own experiences of buying and selling her homes, she has learnt the value of working with a REALTOR ®. Her clients are her priority. She will assist them at every step of the buying or selling process. She understands that clients are not typically familiar with real estate and is ready to explain the entire process. Proper planning and familiarity with the process ensures her clients prevent any failures or unexpected surprises. Alexia is aware how stressful it can be to buy or sell a home. She is there to alleviate this pressure by facilitating the paperwork and by easing the transaction. Above all, Alexia wishes her clients to have a wonderful experience when buying or selling real estate. She is firmly convinced she can ensure this happens with her clients. Give her a call to have a chat about your real estate project!

Eric Holman, REALTOR®

Eric is the son of a retired Canadian Military Officer. He has travelled, moved and relocated numerous times with his family and on his own. He was born in Victoria, B.C, but re-locating quickly became a way of life as he moved with his family to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, then Calgary, Alberta, then to Germany and then finally to the Canadian maritime region at Dartmouth/Halifax, Nova Scotia. Eric has enjoyed the newness and challenges of living in an area for the first time and being a bit of a traveler, he has also lived and worked in the United Kingdom. Eric’s interest in the Real Estate industry came naturally due to his experience with Military relocations and his significant travel experiences.

Eric has a background in the hospitality industry, working in many roles and locations around the world. Customer service comes natural to him and he brought that with him into his real estate career as a Real Estate Consultant. Eric was originally licensed as a REALTOR® from 2007-2015 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Eric also worked as Communications Officer at the New Brunswick Real Estate Association (NBREA) before relocating back to the Dartmouth/Halifax areas to be closer to his family and further his career in real estate. He has a wealth of knowledge of the local area and in the real estate industry in general. Eric would be happy to assist you with all your real estate needs.

Eric is also an active volunteer holding many roles over the years within organized real estate and in his local communities. Most recently Eric has been a soccer coach with the local youth soccer club United Dartmouth Football Club – UDFC as a head coach on various teams.

Lynnette Carter, REALTOR®

Lynnette came to Halifax from the small town of Canso, Guysborough County in 1986 to study as a Paralegal. She worked at a law firm for a few years and then went on to work at the Department of Justice for 17 years. During this time she also achieved her Certificate of Business Administration from MSVU.

Lynnette has moved quite a bit within HRM over the years. So she is quite familiar with various areas of Halifax. She has personally purchased new construction homes as well as pre-owned homes and always had an interest in the real estate industry. She ultimately wanted to pursue a career that would benefit from the knowledge and experience she already possessed. A career where she would continue to do what she has always loved to do which is to provide exceptional client services.

Lynnette came to the real estate industry in 2012 working with our association and organized real estate as well as working as a transaction coordinator for various agents. She now has incorporated that industry experience and knowledge into her career as a REALTOR® and in working with great buyers and sellers.
